The Kubey KB Knives Spike KB406B is a premium front-flipper designed by Maksim Epifantsev. Its streamlined Wharncliffe blade, flame-anodized titanium frame and black twill carbon-fiber inlays create a distinctive combination of modern performance and custom-style presentation.
The 3.11-inch Wharncliffe blade is made from Böhler M390 stainless steel, providing outstanding edge retention, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Vacuum and cryogenic heat treatment brings the blade to approximately 60–62 HRC, while its flat grind and straight cutting edge provide excellent control during precision and everyday utility work.
A bead-blasted finish gives the blade a clean, understated appearance. Deployment is handled by a low-profile front flipper riding on caged ceramic ball bearings for smooth, fast action.
The titanium frame features a colorful flame-anodized finish with contrasting twill carbon-fiber inlays. A titanium frame lock secures the blade during use, while the matching flame-anodized titanium backspacer and pocket clip complete the premium construction.

Why You’ll Like It
The Spike KB406B combines premium materials with a slim, lightweight design. Its straight Wharncliffe edge is well suited to opening packages, cutting cardboard, scoring material and other controlled utility tasks. The M390 blade provides long-lasting performance, while the ceramic-bearing front-flipper action makes deployment smooth and satisfying.
At only 2.86 ounces, it offers titanium frame-lock construction without feeling heavy in the pocket. The flame-anodized finish will vary slightly from knife to knife, giving each handle its own color pattern and character.
