The Kizer Deviant V3575A1 combines premium blade steel, traditional materials and a practical everyday-carry design. Created by Chris Conaway of Sheepdog Knives, the Deviant features a broad sheepsfoot blade, green Micarta scales and genuine copper bolsters.

Its 3-inch sheepsfoot blade is made from Böhler M390 stainless steel, offering excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance and long-term cutting performance. The broad profile and mostly straight cutting edge provide excellent control for opening packages, cutting cardboard and handling everyday utility work. A stonewashed finish helps conceal minor scratches and signs of regular use.

Dual thumb studs and a ball-bearing pivot provide smooth, fast one-handed deployment. Stainless-steel liners and a dependable liner lock support the blade during use, while the contoured handle and deep finger groove promote a comfortable, controlled grip.

The green Micarta scales provide warmth and texture, while the solid copper bolsters give every knife a distinctive appearance. Because the bolsters are genuine copper, they will gradually develop a natural patina with handling and age.

Why You’ll Like It

The Deviant V3575A1 offers an uncommon combination of modern performance and traditional character. M390 steel provides premium edge retention, while green Micarta and raw copper create a look that becomes more personal as the knife ages.

Its sheepsfoot blade is especially effective for controlled utility cutting, package opening and cardboard work. The copper bolsters make the Deviant heavier than many knives of similar size, but they also give it a substantial feel and distinctive appearance that sets it apart from typical lightweight EDC folders.
